Species: Trichocereus pachanoi (Trichocereus macrogonus var pachanoi; Echinopsis pachanoi)

Traits: Trichocereus pachanoi “Rolleston 2” has mostly very short spines, but occasionally longer spines.

Origin & History: “Rolleston 2” was from a cactus removal in Rolleston, New Zealand (Rolleston is a town close to Christchurch). It was growing in poor soil with a concrete pad under the root base and behind a monstrose Austrocylindropuntia.
